Excellent value for money and I have saved tons of cash using it as opposed to barrows armour during countless slayer tasks. Bandos for sure, if you have the money. I used Dragon at first once I got 60 Defence. Even though you'll spend money repairing it, its an extremely low price for the set effect, and premium defence bonuses. Once I got higher stats, and started focusing on Slayer, Bandos was the obvious selection because of the ever so helpful Strength bonuses.

So if you have the money If not, I'd recommend Barrows Armour. Torag armour, or any melee Barrows piece of armour for that matter, is by far superior to these two offers. If if you still insist on buying one of those, Dragon armour would be the best choice. Bandos simply doesn't justify its price - offering pretty much the same stats, a puny strength bonus and a meaningless prayer bonus.

If you're pretty rich and will still have a lot of money if you bought Bandos or Dragon, I'd definitely go for Bandos. The extra Strength bonus can be pretty helpful.

If not, Barrows can sometimes, if not more often, be extremely helpful and would also suggest that if you're not loaded with cash. That's what i'm saying, apart from the Dragon Platelegs and Skirt.
