Where is persada johor
So you just walk through the direction from of the immigration office in the Ferry Terminal Building and it's very easy to find the lobby of the hotel. Since the hotel is in the Duty Free Zone, shopping is also convenient for you as the shopping mall is attached to the h Since the hotel is in the Duty Free Zone, shopping is also convenient for you as the shopping mall is attached to the hotel with many duty free stores and food stores inside.
During our stay, we got a room with splendid view facing the Johor Strait and the bridge connecting Johor Bahru and Singapore. In front of the hotel still in the same duty free zone complex you will find a superb seafood restaurant with various food selection and reasonable price. This is my first travelling in which most of my time was spent staying at the hotel instead of walking exploring the city.
The only drawback of the hotel is the in room dining service which is very difficult to get after midnight. The location of hotel is near to the johor immigration 5 minutes by car. The staffs are helpful and friendly and the breakfast provided are actually simple and nice.
I love the room which is spacious, clean, with the comfortable bed. Just that it will be better if there is a carpet when you enter the room or else the sand with your shoes will follow you moving around Just that it will be better if there is a carpet when you enter the room or else the sand with your shoes will follow you moving around.
Another thing to take note is you can hardly find food nearby the hotel during night time. Overall, a very good hotel. Bathroom was tiny almost to the point of claustrophobia. Thus, the sink was located outside the bathroom which is interesting but somewhat problematic. Still usable though, and we didn't mind Room and hotel was clean and well-maintained, the best we have seen in Johor.
Tastefully-furnished, and bed was comfortable. Security is good, with keycard access to hotel i Security is good, with keycard access to hotel itself, and lift lobby, and security guard s round-the-clock.
Buffet breakfast doesn't have much of a spread, but the food is tasty, reasonably healthy and fresh. Basic selection of fruits, cereals, local delicacies like kueh, otah. Also good half-boiled eggs a local breakfast-essential and beehoon, etc.
The location is quite good, with restaurants in the area and Pelangi shopping centre nearby. Nevertheless, there's no fear, with the vigilant security guards standing watch 24 hours. So huge, clean, new and beautiful. I cannot find a fault. Pictures don't give justice to the place. It is better in real life.
We were at the 30th level and overlooking Singapore. King contacted me thru Whatsapp and provided details of checking in as we have arrived Johor Bahru almost midnight.
He made sure everything are covered before he left. My children en My children enjoyed the pool and the play area a lot. Clean and not crowded. Safety is also topnotch. We also didn't encounter any problems with our private transfer to and from Changi airport.
Check out is straightforward. King assisted us from start to checking out. Extra room space, big washroom. Really like their pillow, is a most comfortable pillow I have been sleep in the hotel.
And the room were very clean and tidy. The hotel is new and the furniture is clean, the staff is very helpful. Really at the center of the city. Surrounded by lots of restaurants, and also a 24hr 7-eleven. Withing a walking distance to a shopping mall, night market so called JB Bazar aka Pasar Karat, train station, taxi station, etc. Just a few minutes away from CIQ Singapore. The room itself is very spacious. Very confortable for a family trip. A free car park is provided at the lower ground, make it very convinient to and from the hotel room itself.
All the basics necessacities are OK such as hot water, aircond, and TV unfortunately no remote control. The satff are all very friendly and helpful. Overall, really worth the money This is my third time in Johor Bahru. I'm not a frills type of guy. I just want a clean place and most important is internet service.
There are no windows in the rooms I've had. But it's clean to me and it has a private bath and shower. I can stay here for a 4 or 5 days for the price of one night in a small Singapore Chinatown hotel or for the same price as a low end I can stay here for a 4 or 5 days for the price of one night in a small Singapore Chinatown hotel or for the same price as a low end youth hostel.
Then again I like eating at the street restaurants with the local people. This is not a place for the people who need to see eye candy all around them. This hotel is an excellent hotel and value for money. For the rate I paid I believe I got a good deal. Very centrally located. No complaints. For the price I paid, it is too good to be true. Avg price per night. Check availability. The gigantic Segget River Beautification Project stands out in the landscape. For the first time, the bustle and hustle of this border town, Johor Bahru had disappeared.
The city was tranquil and empty on that early morning amid the Covid pandemic, probably due to the closure of the Johor-Singapore causeways. We noticed most of the shops are closed, many shops and hotels have closed down, only a handful of eateries were open.
We saw vagrants sleep on the veranda at every corner of the city, and mostly the elderly and the disables walk on the streets. A few of them had approached us for money. While we were grateful that the city appears to be inclusive and accommodative to the homeless and the poor who are elderly or physically challenged, we do have great concerns for the displacement created by gentrification.
Sadly, the mega infrastructure projects and the luxury real estates in the areas do not cater to the local livelihoods' local standard, only designed to uproot the city into a transnational commercial hub for the wealthy and foreigners.
Excellent reviews. Doubletree by Hilton Hotel Johor Bahru. The breakfast is nice, following the full SOP. There is a live band at the lounge at night, and having coffee while listening to the live band is superb.
The gymnasium is well equipped, and the view of the city centre from the gymnasium is magnificent. You can see as far as Singapore, and also Stulang. Once it is a very busy road at all time. Dinner is also good, children eat for free. It is so worth the money. The swimming pool is a bit small though, no pool for children, i think because this hotel aims for professional and business travelers.
