In the Season Two finale of this comedy series, Larry lands in hot water when Cheryl's psychic busts him for a naughty massage. Later, Larry is caught stealing forks from a restaurant. To celebrate, Larry decides to get matching shirts for himself and Ted, but when Ted finds a stain on his shirt, it leads to Larry's demotion in a performance of 'The Wizard of Oz,' as well as other troubles. Larry finally enters the world of cell phones, but his first call leads to a major mix-up with the chef at his new restaurant.

The end result leaves Richard's new girlfriend with a serious case of the hives Larry, Jeff and Ted scramble to find a new chef for the restaurant when the current cook quits in the aftermath of the hives incident. Meanwhile, a couple rejects Larry's wedding gift because it's more than a year late, and a saleswoman becomes convinced that Larry is stalking her. Larry, Cheryl, Jeff and Susie encounter a 'nanny from hell' whose reign of terror is thwarted by ten sponge cakes.

Larry commits a 'penis faux pas' after a pool party, and Richard Lewis seeks immortality from 'Bartlett's Quotations. A rumored threat of a terrorist attack overshadows a benefit performance by Alanis Morissette at the home of one of Larry's friends. Meanwhile, Larry can't help snubbing Paul Reiser's wife Mindy during a series of encounters at a restaurant and the perfume shop where she works. Larry receives some bad news while he's shooting a film in NYC, but he uses the situation as an excuse to get out of a number of unappealing invitations.

After dinner with another couple, Larry ponders an etiquette question. Meanwhile, Jeff's allergies force him to ask his daughter to choose between him and the family's German shepherd.

Larry is accused of betraying the confidence of Wanda's rapper boyfriend. Later, he alienates Jeff's wife Susie and then runs into problems trying to replace a jacket that Cheryl threw out.

Larry proves to be an incompetent Christmas tipper, while both he and Jeff prove to be lousy liars. Later, Larry tries to make amends for ruining a manger scene set up by Cheryl's family. In the Season Three finale, Larry figures out a way to fire a chef and alienate an important restaurant critic With their tenth wedding anniversary approaching, Larry reminds Cheryl of a 'present' she promised him back when they got engaged.

Later that night, a karaoke performance ends up landing Larry an unlikely plum role. Larry reconnects with Michael, his blind tormentor, with bad results. Meanwhile, Richard Lewis asks Larry for an unusual favor, and Larry's poor party etiquette embarrasses Cheryl. Larry mends fences with Michael by setting him up on a blind date. Jeff admits to a sexual fantasy that peeves Larry; Ben Stiller delivers an ultimatum; and Larry levies a steep accusation against a group of mentally challenged workers.

Larry inadvertently traumatizes the Greenes' daughter at their dinner party. Later, Larry accuses a local weatherman of misrepresenting the forecast for personal gain. A bag of raisins and cashews threatens Larry's working relationship with David Schwimmer, while a dirty locker threatens his golf-club membership.

Larry finds an innovative way to use the HOV lane to get to a Dodgers game. Later, he pays a price for getting medicinal marijuana for his dad.

Larry's decision to buy a surrogate mother a baby-shower gift backfires A surreptitious video purchase endangers Larry's relationship with his assistant, Antoinette, and nearly costs Jeff and Susie their best friend. Meanwhile, Cheryl gets medical treatment from an unorthodox source. In the Season Five premiere, Larry is changed by a near-death experience, a revelation and a sandwich. Larry hires a private investigator to uncover a personal secret, adopts a 'racist' dog, and falls off his pedestal as a lesbian advocate, temporarily.

Larry buys his housekeeper a bra, and is saved from the wrath of her vengeful husband by orthotics and a special nail. Larry dishonors an art dealer at a Japanese restaurant and accuses a nursing-home resident of a Bingo fix.

In the Season Six premiere, Cheryl talks Larry into adopting the Blacks, a family displaced by a hurricane, and Larry invents the 'perfect' excuse for missing a pair of parties. The Davids and the Blacks move into a new house, and take in a new guest; Larry rewrites a dry-cleaning rule; Jeff finds his reputation stained; Larry envies Ted Danson's anonymity. Larry argues with Susie and Richard Lewis over condolences, confronts a pair of 'sample abusers' at an ice-cream parlor and a perfumery, and is accused of pinching flowers by Marty Funkhouser.

Larry regrets getting Richard Lewis's girlfriend Cha Cha a job near the office bathroom; a waiter is doomed by a doggy-bag dispute; Larry proves inept at 'talking lefty. A book about freaks, coupled with a chauffeur's incapacity, sets Larry up for a string of ejections involving Ted Danson, John McEnroe and a group of mourners.

Larry tests the limits of sick sex; Loretta and Leon's job prospects are burned by a slow toaster; Larry befriends an exterminator, to a deaf woman's regret. Larry tries to do Auntie Rae a favor, but ends up offending her instead. Jeff's stay at the hospital to get a 'snore job' opens up a new opportunity for Larry, who takes full advantage of it.

In the Season Six finale, an upcoming Bat Mitzvah provides Larry with an opportunity to clear up his recent domestic travails--as well as some nasty rumors. In the Season Seven premiere, Larry attempts a preemptive breakup with an ailing Loretta, and learns with Jeff that you can't make an 'empty gesture' to a Funkhouser. Larry deliberately tries to annoy Loretta, against the advice of a renowned doctor.

Later, Larry dooms Richard Lewis' new relationship, and ends up profiting from Leon's indiscretion with the wife of a depressed pal. Larry resists Jeff's suggestion to do a Seinfeld reunion special--until he figures out a compelling personal reason to do so. Larry rats out Christian Slater at Ted and Mary's anniversary party, but later gets his payback at a restaurant rendezvous with an old flame; Larry's doctor regrets ever giving him his personal number.
